  Hebel is an insulating monolithic system that does not promote mold growth or condensation in the wall.

  Has 4 hour fire rating as tested with ASTM E-119 at Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and will not offgas while other building components are burning, providing safer conditions for firemen.

  Hebel can achieve up to 68 STC (sound transmission class)

 One fifth the weight of Portland Cement products means savings on required structural support.

  Due to its precision in size only two coat stucco needed on exterior and one coat finish on interior contributing to resource conservation.

  Unlike many building products, Hebel can go back to the earth directly after building life.

 EA 1 OPTIMIZE ENERGY PERFORMACE
When using an energy model instead of prescriptive energy code compliance, Hebel will contribute to energy efficiency credits. When combined with efficient windows and roof system the envelope contributes to overall energy conservation. Hebel offers an insulated block with R=1 per inch.
 MR 2 CONSTRUCTION WASTE MANAGEMENT
Any waste from Hebel can be used as clean fill and gravel.

 MR 5 LOCAL/REGIONAL MATERIALS
XELLA MEXICANA manufacturing plant is in Pesqueria, Mexico. An arc 500 miles from plant includes Beaumont, Dallas, Waco, San Angelo, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and South Texas. We ship via barge to interior US directly from Mexico, reducing fuel emissions from transportation.

 EQ 4 LOW EMITING MATERIALS
Not only does Hebel have no volatile organic compounds itself, adhesives and finishes recommended for it are VOC free as well.

 ID 1 INNOVATION IN DESIGN
Hebel contributes to an Integrated Pest Management Plan. Pesticides are not needed for termites with this product. Rodents have no place to travel within Hebel.
