Shaft and Fire Wall Systems

Traditional gypsum fire walls and shaft walls require two inspections and that the building be dried in. Hebel AAC blocks can be installed in one application before topping out and require only one inspection, saving time and money. AAC is lightweight and can be cut with typical wood working tools, so use and modification on the job site is easy. In the case of fires, traditional shaft wall materials may be compromised by fire hoses and require zero occupancy until the wall is repaired, but Hebel AAC shaft wall assembly is a single unit which is not damaged by water.
