HEINEKEN is the world's most international brewer. The company opened a new brewery in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico, it is the largest greenfield project in the company's history and Hebel was part of its construction. Hebel building solutions were applied on 285 m3 of masonry components in buildings A5, H1, G1, K1 and B2 , in this last one 290 m3 of Slab Panel were also used.

The decision of choosing Hebel construction systems as part of the project, was based on its major benefits: Thermal Insulation which provides great energy savings and high R-value, fire resistance and our green building concept. The brewery was constructed following circular economy principles, focusing on renewable energy and efficient water usage. Environmental sustainability has been central to the design of the new brewery.

"I am proud that the Meoqui brewery will be one of our biggest and 'greenest' breweries showcasing our long-term commitment to the country, the region and the environment“ Jean-François van Boxmeer, Chairman of the Executive Board/CEO of HEINEKEN said.

The company says that this will be Heineken's most efficient brewery globally. The Meoqui brewery is the company’s seventh Mexican facility. We as Hebel are proud of being part of this important project.
